Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced Java Developer in Plano, TX for a 12-month contract (W2). The role requires 8+ years in a Developer/Lead capacity and hands-on analysis of requirements for automation feasibility. Proficiency in Java, SQL, Spring/Spring Boot, REST/SOAP web services, and HTML is essential.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and middleware such as WebLogic/JBoss/MQ is expected. The candidate will coordinate offshore and onshore tasks, contribute to end-to-end application

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in a Developer/Lead capacity.
8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
Solid computer programming experience in Java, SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML.
Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task coordination.
Experience in DevOps, continuous delivery and continuous integration.
Transaction knowledge, JAXB, JMS, Jdbc, WebLogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core Java (streams / files / collections). Drools knowledge would be a plus.
Payments Domain, Agile, Containers.
Strong Technical Skills and E2E understanding of the application.
