Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support Treasury Monitoring and Deposits within the MTS Money Transfer System environment. You will contribute hands-on development experience across Java, AWS, Kafka and Spring Boot, with a strong Payments domain background.

This 12-18 month contract is based in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ and requires 5–7 years of relevant experience. W2 employment only, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software development experience.
• Substantial Payments industry experience — required.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Java, AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot.
• Experience working on payment-related systems, applications, or platforms.
• Strong understanding of payments technologies, processes, or financial transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop within Treasury Monitoring and Deposits in a payments-focused environment.
• Contribute to application development inside the MTS (Money Transfer System) ACI environment.
