Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Application Programmer II to join the Enterprise Payments Technology team in Addison, TX. You will develop, maintain, and test software supporting core payments functions, collaborating across QA and support teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires strong Java/Spring/Oracle expertise, experience with Hibernate, Maven and Jenkins, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a dynamic, global payments environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services, and REST API.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, enthusiasm, and willingness to tackle technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications supporting business units within Payments Technology.
• Participate actively in application development and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
• Drive application design activities and develop software solutions that meet specified requirements.
• Collaborate with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software quality and performance standards are met.
• Work with support teams to deploy software updates and resolve defects efficiently.
