Santander is seeking a Senior Java Developer (ION) to join our Madison, NJ team. You will contribute across multiple complex applications, lead architectural decisions, and drive performance improvements in a highly available environment.

The role requires 9+ years of Java backend experience, proficiency with Spring Boot/JPA/REST, CI/CD (Jenkins), and strong SQL skills. Financial services background and cloud familiarity are highly valued.

• 9+ years of hands-on application development experience with strong Java expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a senior hands-on developer across multiple complex application initiatives.
• Lead technical analysis, design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications and components.
• Provide advanced expertise in troubleshooting complex applications, system, and performance issues.
• Design, implement, and support system enhancements, refactoring, and modernization efforts.
• Research, evaluate, and implement solutions for performance monitoring, tuning, scalability, and system configuration.
• Drive the development and maintenance of automated test suites and QA practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to associate and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
