Job summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Sr. Java Developer with IES experience to support enterprise Java/J2EE web applications and complex SQL development. You will work across multiple environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
The role requires 3+ years of experience, knowledge of WebSphere, DB2/Oracle, and design patterns, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a fast-paced contract setting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of development experience with Java/J2EE applications.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0.
- Strong SQL skills with DB2 and Oracle.
- Proficiency with design patterns (Singleton, Factory, DAO).
- Experience with MVC-based architectures and batch jobs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Perform hands-on Java coding and application development.
- Develop and maintain application components using JSP, EJBs, JDBC, JavaScript, and Custom Tag Libraries.
- Design and develop batch jobs and web services.
- Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries using DB2 and Oracle.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
