Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) seeks a Developer IV for a hybrid role in Columbia, SC. The candidate will design, develop, test, and support enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST-based services. Strong emphasis on modernization, compliance workflows, and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 4 years of related work experience.
6 years of application development, testing, or related work experience.
Experience with Java 11/17+, Spring and Hibernate/JPA.
Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and REST/Web Services.
Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Copilot; Git-based source control.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support enterprise Java applications.
Lead modernization efforts, debt remediation, and framework upgrades.
Collaborate with business/compliance stakeholders on the Compliance Notification System.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and process improvements.
