Job summary

FusionAuth is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our Denver-based cloud platform team. You will develop high-performance Java code, contribute to cloud features, and help scale our CIAM platform while collaborating with a cross-functional crew.

You will work in a hybrid Denver environment, report to the Platform Engineering leadership, and drive secure, scalable solutions with Terraform and Kubernetes expertise. Candidates should be bold, analytical, and eager to grow a startup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 6+ years with a heavy ops or platform engineering component.
• Strong Java and object-oriented design skills.
• Deep, hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, secure Java code.
• Extend our cloud offering with security, scalability and control plane features.
• Maintain and extend the FusionAuth Terraform provider.
• Support other engineers with cloud and platform expertise.
• Write thorough tests and clear documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers and participate in on-call rotations.
