Zusammenfassung

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a mid-to-senior Java Developer to join our development team. You will design, enhance, and modernize Java-based backend systems, with a long-term opportunity to transition services into modern .NET-based microservices.

The ideal candidate has strong Java backend experience, understands legacy systems, and can work independently while collaborating with others. Experience with .NET, C#, and modern .NET is a strong plus.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java backend development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience working with legacy Java applications and modernizing/refactoring codebases.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, or similar.
• Experience with older Java frameworks such as Struts preferred.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, SOLID, refactoring, and clean code.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Strong SQL skills and query optimization.
• Experience with JPA, Hibernate, or similar ORM tools.
• Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Strong Git skills and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to collaborate and mentor teammates.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, maintain, and support Java-based backend applications, services, and APIs.
• Modernize legacy Java systems and migrate toward .NET microservices when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with internal/external systems.
• Plan replacements or migrations to modern .NET services as the platform evolves.
• Build new .NET services and support overall architecture modernization.
• Apply SOLID principles and clean coding practices; refactor for maintainability.
• Work with Oracle SQL, indexing, constraints, and performance tuning.
• Use ORM tools like JPA, Hibernate, or similar.
• Support microservice architecture with clear boundaries and business logic.
• Contribute to event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum with product, QA, DevOps, and architects.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering standards.
