Anthem Engineering, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power mission-critical applications in Maryland. You will collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, own backend services and data access layers, and contribute to architectural decisions, with a focus on clean code, testability, and performance.

Formación

• 7+ years of backend Java experience.
• Strong Java/core JVM knowledge.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Practical experience with Spring with the ability to evaluate when it’s appropriate to use.
• Experience with Hibernate and ORM frameworks.
• Relational DB design expertise; NoSQL a plus.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable software systems.
• Git experience.
• Linux/Unix environments experience.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; adaptable to changing requirements.
• Experience with Agile development.
