Job summary

Shrive Technologies seeks a senior backend engineer to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will design and implement scalable Java services, focusing on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.

You will work with Spring (Boot, Batch), BPM, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices in cloud-native environments, contributing to CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile processes while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java application development, including object-oriented design, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM) development, workflow orchestration, and process automation.
• 3+ years of experience building event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka, Pub/Sub platforms, and messaging patterns.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle DB and MongoDB.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience implementing secure, scalable, and highly available backend solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
