Job summary

Artech L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer for a high-impact project in Charlotte, NC.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications within a cloud-native, enterprise setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver critical features and improvements. The role requires deep Java expertise, strong OpenShift and Oracle Database experience, and a solid track record in the Banking/Financial Services domain, with a focus on microservices

Qualifications

Strong conceptual understanding of microservices and scalable backend design.
Experience delivering enterprise-grade backend systems in a regulated domain.
Ability to work in an Agile environment and drive quality through CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend applications.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile team.
Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, QA, architects, and project leads.
Develop scalable, high-performance solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
Contribute to system enhancements, new feature development, and production support.
Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
