Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with Java backend.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Architect-level technical expertise for complex backend systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, scalability, and Kafka.
• Proactive and self-driven mindset with ownership of implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges from problem to production delivery.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve performance, scalability and reliability.
• Develop and optimize APIs, microservices, integrations, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Contribute to search functionality and AI-powered features as needed.
