Job summary

Value Innovation Labs Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer with 5+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development. You will design and implement robust, scalable solutions, leveraging strong knowledge of multi-threading, data structures, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).

The ideal candidate has C# exposure, experience with TDD and mocking, and works well in an Agile environment using Maven or Gradle for builds. AI awareness is a plus as you apply modern techniques to business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE software design and development experience.
• C# experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of core language features and proper usage.
• Proficient in multi-threading and thread-safety principles.
• Excellent data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Experience with test-driven development (JUnit) and mocking.
• Familiarity with Git or SVN and CI/build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Experience with agile development and delivering SME-level expertise.
• Strong communication with business users and other developers.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and practical business/technical applications.
