Job summary

ARQ is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems powering fintech products. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to deliver secure, high-performance services including card payments, treasury management and transactions.

You will work with Java on the backend, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, using TDD, DDD and CI/CD to ensure quality and rapid delivery. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree and strong foundation in computer science or related field.
• Proven backend development experience with Java.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Track record delivering complex products in hypergrowth startups.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices for fintech features.
• Ensure security, reliability and high performance.
