Santander is seeking a Senior Java Developer (ION) in the United States to lead and contribute across multiple enterprise initiatives. You will design, implement, and optimize backend services, mentor peers, and ensure robust, scalable solutions in a financial services environment.

Ideal candidates will have 9+ years of Java experience, strong Spring, microservices, and CI/CD expertise, plus familiarity with cloud architectures and secure coding practices.

Formación

• 9+ years hands-on Java development in distributed systems.
• Advanced Java proficiency with REST APIs and backend development.
• Experience in Financial Services and large-scale systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead analysis, design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications and components.
• Mentor/guide associate and mid-level developers; drive best practices and code quality.
• Accurately estimate effort, assess risks, and help plan delivery milestones.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and modernization efforts.
• Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance initiatives.
