Job summary

Techsa is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to design and build scalable services using Java and Spring Boot. You will craft microservices for high-throughput systems, and implement event-driven architectures with Kafka, while ensuring robust data access with PostgreSQL and Redis.

You will collaborate with frontend, data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features, and maintain high code quality with unit and integration tests in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices at scale.
• Experience with event streaming using Kafka or similar.
• Strong relational DB and caching (PostgreSQL/Redis).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, and clean code.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop microservices architecture for high-throughput, low-latency data processing.
• Build event-driven systems using Kafka, Kafka Streams, or similar messaging platforms.
• Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and optimize query performance.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
