Job summary

Footbridge Federal delivers engineering, cyber, mission IT, analytics, and cleared program support for defense, intelligence, federal civilian, homeland security, and research missions.

Candidates will design and implement scalable Java-based test automation, integrating Selenium WebDriver within CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment to improve software quality and delivery speed. A TS/SCI clearance and strong automation background are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Extensive professional experience in software test automation or software engineering.
• Advanced Java development skills with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Proven experience designing and enhancing Java-based test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, data-driven testing).
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with Git-based version control and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Write clean, object-oriented Java code to support comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and rapid software delivery.
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex automation and application failures by analyzing system logs and behavior.
• Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and DevSecOps teams within an Agile environment to define automation strategies.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members on automation best practices.
