Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable application platforms on AWS. You will architect and maintain containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (including EKS), and build robust CI/CD pipelines to support deployments.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code with Terraform, troubleshooting across cloud infra, and integrating Generative AI and LLM workflows where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Extensive professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments and architecture.
• Proven expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and scripting languages for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable application platforms within AWS.
• Architect and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (including EKS).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing Terraform.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and container environments.
• Support the integration of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) workflows.
