Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with strong Java expertise to design and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications, RESTful services, and Salesforce platforms within a modern microservices architecture.

You will design Playwright-based test scripts, validate Salesforce customizations and Apex logic, and implement comprehensive API and integration tests across CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with global development, product, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java test automation.
• Expertise in Test Automation Framework Architecture.
• Proficiency in Playwright and REST Assured.
• Testing Salesforce-based applications and using TestRail.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative test planning in Scrum/Kanban.
• Ability to write clear, precise, and reusable test cases based on requirements.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub or GitLab.
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web-based apps and RESTful services.
• Understand Salesforce functionality (custom objects, Apex logic, Lightning components) and Java microservices.
• Develop and execute test plans including integration and API testing for microservices.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams throughout the Agile lifecycle.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for Salesforce customizations, integrations, Lightning Web Components, and Apex triggers.
• Review REST API specifications and perform automated API testing using Postman or Playwright.
• Monitor test execution results and troubleshoot integration failures in CI/CD pipelines.
• Track, document, and report defects using Jira.
