Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (Java) to design and build automation frameworks for a Wealth Management platform. You will lead QA efforts, transitioning from manual to automated testing at scale, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities include testing REST/SOAP APIs, building Selenium-based automation, integrating with Jenkins CI/CD, and ensuring robust test data management in Git environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years in test automation development, including scripting and framework building
• Proficiency in Java with Selenium or comparable front-end automation tools
• Strong background in REST and SOAP API testing, with SoapUI and Groovy scripting preferred
• Experience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managing Git version control
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field, with solid foundations in manual testing
• Excellent English communication skills at B2 level or above

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, integration, acceptance, and regression test cases across back-end REST APIs and front-end systems
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Manage test data, environments and script versioning via Git
• Apply analytical troubleshooting to resolve system issues in Agile teams
• Leverage AI/testing tools to elevate test coverage and reporting
