Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Automation Developer for a hands-on Java role focused on building scalable UI and microservice test automation frameworks. You will design, refactor, and maintain automation assets, applying Page Object Model, SOLID principles, and robust test architecture.

Join a high-velocity Agile Scrum environment and collaborate with product owners to embed testability early in the SDLC. The role includes exploring AI-assisted tooling to accelerate script generation and self-healing

Qualifications

5–8 years of professional software engineering and test automation experience.
Advanced, daily programming in Core Java (Java 11/17+).
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and API testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and scale Java-based automation frameworks for UI and server-side components.
Write production-grade Java code to develop automation artifacts and test scenarios.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and acceptance criteria.
Implement BDD/TDD methodologies and translate Gherkin to executable steps.
Develop automated validation suites for microservices and RESTful APIs.
