Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Java Enterprise Architect with Greenfield design expertise and a strong Java development background to lead the architecture and delivery of a large-scale project leveraging Gen AI.

You will collaborate with the client’s Enterprise Architect and Delivery Director, oversee a team of about 30 Java developers, and drive scalable, secure architecture and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Java development and architecture.
Greenfield system design expertise from scratch.
Experience with large-scale system development and deployment.
Gen AI integration and implementation experience.
Domain-driven design within financial services or loyalty programs.
Strong collaboration and leadership with clients and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and architecture of a Greenfield project.
Collaborate with the client’s Enterprise Architect to align with standards.
Oversee implementation by a team of ~30 Java developers.
Drive scalable, secure, and high-performance system design.
Integrate Gen AI technologies into the architecture for advanced features.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance.
Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.
