Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Application Developer (Java) to design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications for a government-driven program. The role emphasizes collaboration within an Agile team, Jira-driven tasking, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of work experience in Java applications and related frameworks.
• Experience in Agile team development using Jira or similar tools.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience writing automated unit tests with JUnit.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain a suite of Java applications.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and update Jira tasks daily.
• Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production systems.
• Learn new technical skills to meet project needs and customer requirements.
