Job summary
Motion Recruitment is seeking two Java Developers to support a CBP initiative, delivering enterprise applications and modernization efforts in a federal environment. The role is hybrid and based in Ashburn, VA, with onsite attendance 1-2 days per week.
You will work with senior engineers to design, build, test, and deploy scalable Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot, participate in API integrations, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet mission-critical
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Java expertise and OO design.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience building scalable, secure enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL).
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and integrations with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to system modernization and enterprise-grade solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
