Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our Federal contract team. You will design and build modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AngularJS, REST APIs, and SQL Server, contributing across the full SDLC in an Agile environment.

You will mentor peers, participate in code reviews, implement responsive front-end interfaces, and help deploy and support enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong Spring ecosystem knowledge (Boot, MVC, Security, Data/JPA/Hibernate & REST).
• Front-end experience with Angular/AngularJS and TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with JSON/XML.
• Proficient with Maven, Git, and SDLC practices.
• Unit testing and automated testing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to obtain an FNS MBI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps with Java and Spring.
• Develop responsive web apps using Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Implement RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end with backend services and databases.
• Follow established coding standards and design patterns.
• Work with SQL Server and write efficient SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot across development, test, and production environments.
• Contribute to code reviews and improve app quality, performance, security, maintainability.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps and stakeholders.
• Develop unit and integration tests and support automated testing.
• Maintain and modernize apps and introduce Spring/Angular upgrades as needed.
• Participate in deployment and production support.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
• Create technical docs and diagrams to support deployment and troubleshooting.
