Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a federal contract, delivering modern web applications using Java, Spring, Angular, REST APIs, and SQL Server. You will work within an Agile team to build scalable, reliable solutions and contribute across the full stack.

You will collaborate with architects, testers, and stakeholders while mentoring teammates. Candidates should have strong DevOps, Azure, Docker, and CI/CD experience in a dynamic government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Deep Spring ecosystem knowledge: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate & REST APIs.
• Strong front-end with Angular/AngularJS; TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Experience with RESTful services and SQL Server.
• Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Unit and automated testing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain FNS MBI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise apps with Java/Spring.
• Develop responsive web apps using Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Implement RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end with back-end services and databases.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance.
• Develop unit and integration tests; support automated testing.
