Job summary

JPMorganChase, within Consumer & Community Banking Marketing Automation, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive full‑stack delivery across UI, backend, and integrations. You will apply AI-assisted practices to improve code quality, speed, and security while aligning multiple teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software eng concepts and 5+ years applied exp.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, app development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted dev tools with code review, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• Experience with headless content delivery and enterprise content translation integrations.
• Led technical delivery, influenced design decisions, and aligned teams.
• 8+ years hands-on Java full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and debugging.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' work.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tooling to enhance automation and value.
• Identifies and automates remediation for recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Delivers full-stack solutions end-to-end including UI, backend, APIs, testing and deployment.
• Participates in planning to estimate work and identify risks.
• Coordinates with design partners to ensure web standards and delivery practices.
• Modernizes marketing campaigns using Adobe AEM and cloud tools.
