Job summary

CSI International Inc. in Worthington, OH is seeking an experienced Janitorial Area Manager to lead and support janitorial staff across a defined account.

You will oversee budgets, quality control, staffing, and training while ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of progressive janitorial management experience and comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance, safety, and payroll procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years progressively increasing management experience in the janitorial industry.
• Satisfactory working knowledge of building maintenance including restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet and floor care, equipment operation and maintenance, chemical knowledge, MSDS and safety.
• Ability to meet deadlines, make sound decisions, and work independently with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support janitorial staff on assigned account.
• Oversee budgets, P&L statements, quality control, staffing, training, and timekeeping.
• Conduct regular quality inspections with Site Supervisor and/or customer.
• Determine staffing levels to meet scope of work within budget.
• Onboard and train new employees; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure closure of issues.
