Job summary

Decca Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to support the eXPRS application for Oregon's ODHS and OHA programs. You will help identify bugs, process backlog requests, and drive enhancements while ensuring performance and maintainability.

The role emphasizes transitioning knowledge to teammates for ongoing support. The ideal candidate holds a CS/MIS degree, 10+ years in J2EE/Java/Eclipse, and recent state government experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in J2EE, Java and Eclipse.
• Prior state government experience within the last five years.
• 1–3 years of eXPRS Application Development experience.
• Design, code, and test software in a .NET framework; SQL Server on VB.NET.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate application bugs in eXPRS.
• Process operational requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog.
• Handle application enhancement and performance requests.
• Refactor and improve UI and data reporting aspects.
• Provide knowledge transfer to team members for ongoing support.
• Support and maintain configurations for in-house apps.
