Job summary

Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking a Information Systems Specialist 7 – Senior Server Applications Analyst in Salem. You will provide expert guidance to Enterprise Operations teams and lead analysis, planning, development, and coordination for complex information systems across divisions.

This senior role requires designing and maintaining critical infrastructure, cloud and on-premise systems, and ensuring security and performance while supporting after-hours work and CJIS

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of information systems experience in information systems management.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field OR two (2) years accredited vocational training in information technology.
• Master's degree can substitute for all above.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and design new technology for agency infrastructure including cloud computing, systems management, remote access, security, firewall, and intranet/internet access and security.
• Coordinate system planning considering resource use, disaster planning, performance and security.
• Analyze and modify vendor software with vendor contacts and management.
• Research, design and construct new systems using server and internet technology while aligning with business needs and security standards.
