Job summary
Mavensoft Technologies, LLC in Salem, OR is seeking a Sr. Java Developer for a 12-month contract. This role blends remote work with-site opportunities, focusing on the eXPRS application and enterprise-scale Java/J2EE development.
You will develop, test, and implement enhancements, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment using Azure DevOps to manage backlog, tasks, and changes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years Java/J2EE development experience.
- Expertise with IBM DB2 UDB.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with eXPRS application development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for backlog and bugs.
- Prior State Government project experience in last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement enhancements for the eXPRS application.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
- Handle operational, maintenance, performance, and UI/data requests.
- Create and maintain technical and system documentation.
- Analyze requirements and translate to technical solutions.
- Document options, impacts, dependencies, gaps, designs.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, leads, and dev teams.
- Participate in daily Scrum and Agile ceremonies.
- Manage and track work in Azure DevOps.
- Develop specs for database changes and interfaces.
- Demonstrate prototypes to stakeholders.
- Provide sprint status reports and transparency.
- Transfer knowledge to internal team for support.
