Job summary

Poutrix is looking for a Senior ITS Traffic Analyst / Project Manager to join our transportation team in Miami, FL. This role involves leading traffic engineering projects, improving safety and operations, and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain Florida PE within one month of hire.
• Must possess a U.S. Driver’s License.
• Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client-facing project manager on traffic engineering projects.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
• Provide updates on the status of projects to clients and management.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts for project delivery.
• Lead project team in preparation of traffic engineering plans.

Skills

Traffic analysis tools (VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS)

Traffic operations principles (ITE, MUTCD, AASHTO)

Microstation and Bentley OpenRoads

Project management

Client interaction and communication

Education
