Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior ITS Traffic Analyst / Project Manager to join our transportation team in South Florida, Miami, FL. You will lead the delivery of ITS and traffic engineering programs and coordinate with senior managers and engineers to improve safety and operations.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, presenting updates to clients and senior leadership while mentoring junior staff in technical proficiency and consultancy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in ITS/traffic engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to obtain Florida PE within one month of hire.
• Must possess a U.S. Driver's License.
• Experience with FDOT design standards, ITS design, and traffic operations studies.
• Experience with FDOT clients and projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client facing project manager on traffic engineering projects to improve safety and operations.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects and programs.
• Provide written and verbal updates to clients and internal senior management.
• Coordinate with survey, roadway design, and environmental teams to deliver client projects.
• Lead planning, design, studies, and operations/maintenance of ITS/TSMO solutions and products.
• Prepare traffic engineering plans for signal designs and ITS designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in technical proficiency and consultancy.
