STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION seeks a FMS/AMS Specialist IV in District Six to oversee ITS/ TMC operations, drive contract performance, and ensure detector accuracy for tolling systems. You will manage contracts, coordinate with CEI teams, and analyze data to sustain high availability of transportation networks.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, adherence to standards, and contributing to safety and mobility goals for Florida's transportation system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic engineering concepts, terminology and analysis.
• MUTCD standards familiarity and FDOT guidelines knowledge.
• Experience with traffic data collection techniques and data analysis.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Develops and manages contracts for ITS/TSM&O programs and related services.
• Programs FMS/AMS projects and RFPs, with technical specs and plans.
• Performs engineering review and traffic data analysis for performance trends.
• Supports development of TSM&O programs at multiple levels and stakeholder liaison.
