Job summary

Innosoft is seeking a skilled Technical Writer for a 12-month MMIS transition project with the State of South Carolina. The role requires collaborating with project directors, developers, analysts, and SMEs to produce clear business and technical documentation for multiple stakeholders.

You will translate complex information into concise, visual documents, manage sources in SharePoint, and maintain branding and style guidelines while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience with structured written materials.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience.
• Strong ability to present technical information for diverse audiences.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, SMEs, and technical teams to create project deliverables.
• Provide recommendations on documentation and deliverables from analysis and design discussions.
• Translate complex information into clear, visual project documentation.
• Organize and maintain project documentation in SharePoint and repositories.
• Incorporate visuals for better understanding and maintain branding consistency.
