Delta Computer Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to spearhead enterprise technology initiatives involving business and IT stakeholders, SAP resources, infrastructure, security, testing teams, and external vendors.

This role oversees projects from requirements through go-live and transition to support. The position requires leading cross-functional teams, strong risk and change control skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex environment.

Pay Range: $41.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience, geographic region, and internal equity)

Schedule: Full-time, contract; long-term opportunity through December 2028

Travel: Approximately 5%

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of enterprise technology initiatives involving business and IT stakeholders, SAP functional and technical resources, infrastructure, security, testing teams, and external vendors.

This role will oversee projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design coordination, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support.

Key Responsibilities

• Project planning, scope, schedule, resources, milestones, RAID management, governance, status reporting, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, quality, and change control
• Manage the delivery lifecycle including requirements, design coordination, SIT, UAT, defect management, readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support
• Lead project planning and execution for PS&P initiatives by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, dependencies, resource needs, and governance expectations with business and IT stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, SAP functional and technical resources, infrastructure, security, testing teams, external vendors, and business subject-matter experts to maintain alignment and delivery accountability
• Maintain integrated project plans and track actions, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change requests; elevate items requiring leadership direction and follow through to closure
• Prepare clear project status reports covering accomplishments, upcoming milestones, schedule health, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and required management actions
• Facilitate project meetings, requirements workshops, design reviews, testing checkpoints, readiness reviews, cutover planning sessions, and post-launch stabilization meetings; document decisions, owners, and due dates
• Coordinate SIT and UAT planning, test readiness, execution progress, defect triage, business sign-off, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support
• Apply change-control and quality-management practices to validate scope changes, assess business and technical impacts, coordinate approvals, and protect committed delivery outcomes

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional IT projects from planning through go-live and stabilization
• Strong experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, governance, and change control
• Experience coordinating business stakeholders, technical teams, infrastructure, security, testing teams, and external vendors
• Experience managing projects involving SAP or other large-scale enterprise applications
• Strong experience with the full software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, SIT, UAT, defect management, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
• Strong stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, and executive-level status reporting skills
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project plans and driving action items through completion
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a complex enterprise environment
