Job summary

Freelance Latin America is seeking an experienced Senior IT Tech for a fully remote, long-term engagement supporting a U.S.-based organization. You will handle advanced technical support, manage network and cloud infrastructure, and drive cybersecurity and automation initiatives.

You will mentor junior technicians and contribute to IT projects and professional development in a collaborative, international team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in advanced IT technical support or senior IT role.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot Level 3 issues across networks, servers, software, and security incidents.
Configure and maintain networking infra (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, routers, switches).
Manage Windows and Linux servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and virtualization.
Administer cloud infra (Azure, AWS, hybrid).
Lead technical projects and migrations; develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Mentor Level 1/2 technicians and support change-management processes.
