Job summary

City of Cincinnati's Enterprise Technology Solutions department seeks a Computer Programmer Analyst focusing on the Enterprise Service Desk. You will provide customer service and technical support for enterprise systems, assist in analysis of data processing needs, and contribute to design, testing, and implementation of new solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining desktop/server environments, network support, and documentation, with on-call duties and potential shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information technology, computer programming, criminal justice, geography or a related field.
• 45-quarter credit hours from an accredited college or university with 30 in computer science, information technology, and/or computer programming.
• Two years of professional paid work experience performing work similar to the Examples of Work Performed.
• Certification programs (e.g., Novell or Windows NT engineer) may substitute for one year of paid work experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains servers and network equipment.
• Troubleshoots any application or server connections.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots office network software and operating systems.
• Develops specifications, codes, tests and documents application programs.
• Develops specifications, codes, and tests interfaces and conversion programs or procedures.
