Position Summary

The Senior Information Technology (IT) Systems Implementation Strategist plays a vital role in driving enterprise-wide technology advancements that enhance operational efficiency and business innovation. This role ensures seamless integration, optimizes system capabilities, and aligns technology solutions with Empower Pharmacy’s mission to improve access to quality healthcare. By fostering collaboration, championing digital transformation, and leveraging emerging technologies, the lead contributes to a future-focused, dynamic work environment that supports excellence in service and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads the end-to-end implementation of strategic technology solutions—including key enterprise systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and other related applications—ensuring alignment with business objectives while guiding cross-functional teams to drive adoption, efficiency, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develops and oversees detailed technology roadmaps, implementation timelines, and system optimization strategies to support the successful and timely delivery of key enterprise system implementations and related business deliverables.
  • Partners with stakeholders to gather and refine complex business requirements, design integrated data workflows, and translate operational needs into scalable, functional system capabilities.
  • Manages post-implementation activities including user training, performance monitoring, and support, while driving continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights and user feedback.
  • Leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-powered analytics to uncover optimization opportunities, automate high-impact workflows, and implement intelligent systems that enhance decision-making and operational performance.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation, enterprise technology integration, or Information Technology (IT) project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex system deployments.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong foundation in enterprise systems, technology integration, and organizational process optimization.
  • Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
