Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Farmingdale, NY is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support Windows and Active Directory administration for DOD programs. You will implement secure network architectures, manage user accounts, and assist with security accreditation plans.

The role requires a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance, a BS in CS/IT, 5+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Kerberos, and patching of Windows

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen and able to obtain DoD clearance.
• Experience with Windows and AD administration is required.
• Strong familiarity with security controls and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and delete AD objects (users, groups, OU).
• Design, implement, and manage Group Policy for users and computers.
• Ensure secure authentication (Kerberos, 2FA, certificates) for logins.
• Configure and maintain DNS servers for name resolution.
• Manage DHCP scopes and IP assignments.
• Install, configure, and patch Windows servers.
• Monitor server performance and logs; ensure security controls.
• Support Engineering department IT needs and upgrades.
