Job summary

Bowler Pons Solutions Consultants, LLC seeks a Systems Administrator to support a DoD customer’s critical IT infrastructure. You will manage Windows Server environments, AD, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization with STIGs and patching in a DoD setting.

Applicants should have 4–8 years of relevant experience, hands-on troubleshooting, and an active DoD clearance with IAT Level II certification. Strong communication with government stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4–8 years in systems administration.
• Experience in Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019 and DoD environments.
• Strong skills in AD, patching, security, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft server infra including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO and virtualization.
• Perform host-based security, STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and modernization with minimal disruption.
• Administer AD domains, OU, accounts, permissions, and services.
• Install and troubleshoot VMware/Hyper‑V environments and hosts.
• Use PowerShell and CLI tools to diagnose and remediate issues.
• Monitor health, capacity, security posture, and performance.
• Support patch/configuration management and disaster recovery planning.
