Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an IT-oriented System Engineer 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role focuses on design, implementation, operations and cybersecurity for large virtualized infrastructure and government-grade systems.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, adjudicated Secret Clearance, a bachelor's degree and 7+ years of progressive IT/engineering experience, plus hands-on skills in VMware, Windows Server, AD, MECM, DNS/DHCP/WSUS, and scripting with PowerShell or

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field with 7+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience eliciting requirements, researching, designing, testing and implementing hardware/software for virtual infrastructure.
• Strong background with VMware, Windows Server, AD, MECM, and security configurations (DISA STIG/SRGs).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification or ability to obtain.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and architect solutions for secure virtualized infrastructure.
• Develop designs and architectural changes with documentation and test/transition plans.
• Perform security updates and maintain posture across systems.
