Job summary

The Estate Lawyers APC is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to maintain a reliable, secure technology environment for a fast-growing law firm with offices in Irvine and San Diego.

You will handle hands-on technical support, coordinate with the external IT provider, and drive improvements in security, backups, and technology deployments to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience in senior support, systems engineering or IT administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and cloud-based business apps.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, user access management, and endpoint technologies.
• Solid networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure understanding for troubleshooting and coordination.
• Experience working with managed service providers or external IT vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong customer-service mindset.
• Willingness to travel between Irvine and San Diego offices on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to attorneys and staff.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows OS, printers, scanners, and conferencing gear.
• Coordinate with the external IT provider and vendors to ensure service delivery.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and data protection measures.
• Document IT procedures and maintain accurate inventories and guidelines.
