Job summary

Tier4 Group in the Atlanta area seeks an IT Systems Engineer (Level 3) to serve as a senior technical resource across Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoint management, networking, and infrastructure. You will mentor staff, resolve complex incidents, and collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to keep systems stable and secure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT engineering or related technical role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft-based enterprise environments.
• Experience documenting systems, processes, and standards.
• Mentoring others and supporting phone-based support as needed.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation point for complex technical issues across endpoints, identity, infrastructure, networking, and enterprise apps.
• Perform root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
• Manage high-priority incidents and escalations with clear stakeholder communication.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID environments.
• Develop automation to streamline administrative tasks using PowerShell.
