Job summary

Exelon is seeking an IT Senior Systems Engineer II to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex systems, including cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. You will mentor engineers, coordinate with architecture, and deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for a large enterprise.

You will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, write specifications, and drive technical initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4–9 years of IT infrastructure or related experience.
• Experience designing and documenting processes and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Hybrid Cloud enterprise environments.
• Strong business acumen across IT disciplines.
• Ability to communicate complex info to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with business partners and vendors to gather requirements and feasibility.
• Develop system specifications and architecture diagrams; implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Coach and supervise junior engineers; provide peer reviews and mentorship.
• Design, support and maintain system integration between platforms for customers.
• Ensure risk management and data to leadership with actionable insights.
