Job summary
Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an IT Systems Engineer II/III to design, deploy, and maintain compute infrastructure both on-prem and in the cloud. The role focuses on patching, uptime, VM deployment, and disaster recovery, with responsibilities across Windows and cloud environments.
On-site positions in Lynnwood or Burbank, with travel as needed. The ideal candidate holds a BS in a computer-oriented field and has several years of experience with hypervisors, storage, backup appliances,
Qualifications
- BS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2-4+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium to high volume environment.
- 4-7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium to high volume environment; hypervisor experience.
Responsibilities
- Patch and manage data center and cloud technologies including VMware, Nutanix, Azure, and Oracle OCI.
- Ensure uptime of critical business systems through monitoring and remediation.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines on-prem and in the cloud.
- Provide troubleshooting and recommendations for improvements on systems.
- Assist in disaster recovery and IT initiatives.
