Job summary
Crane Aerospace and Electronics is seeking an IT Systems Engineer II/III for on-site positions in Lynnwood, WA or Burbank, CA. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining compute infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
The engineer will patch, monitor, troubleshoot, and support disaster recovery while ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have 2–7+ years in systems engineering, experience with VMware/Nutanix, and be prepared to contribute to IT
Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent experience in a computer-oriented field.
- 2–7+ years of IT systems engineering experience in medium to high volume environments.
- Experience with hypervisors (Nutanix, VMware) and backup/storage hardware.
Responsibilities
- Patching and management of data center and cloud technologies (VMware, Nutanix, Azure, Oracle OCI).
- Ensure uptime of critical business systems through monitoring and remediation.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines on‑prem and in the cloud.
- Provide troubleshooting and recommendations for improvements; document installations.
- Assist disaster recovery planning and testing; support IT initiatives.
