Job summary

Tines is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, build, and improve internal systems supporting our growing business. You will own automation, integrations, and enterprise platform improvements with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.

You'll partner with IT Operations, Security, and stakeholders to translate requirements into durable solutions, leading projects from discovery through implementation and handoff. Boston-based team alignment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of senior IT systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on admin across enterprise platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, AWS).
• Experience building automated workflows and integrations using APIs or scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting using logs and CLI to fix complex issues.
• Sound judgment on access controls, data security, and change management.
• Proven track record delivering technical projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Own admin and improvement of enterprise platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, AWS).
• Design, build, test, document, and maintain automated workflows and integrations.
• Investigate escalations with IT Operations; implement scalable fixes.
• Lead systems engineering projects from requirements to rollout and handoff.
• Collaborate with Security and stakeholders to enable secure tech use.
• Contribute to documentation for future Federal environment requirements.
