Job summary

Hi Marley is seeking a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to own the internal technology stack powering how we operate.

This role focuses on identity, endpoint, and SaaS governance, building automated, secure, and auditable workflows across the organization. You will automate provisioning, manage device fleets, and support AI-enabled tools, with a strong emphasis on reliability, audit readiness, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with identity, SSO, and provisioning workflows (Microsoft Entra, SCIM, SAML).
• Ability to automate workflows using Python, APIs, or low/no-code automation tools (e.g. Zapier).
• Proficiency using Jamf for MDM/endpoint management
• 5+ years hands-on experience in IT systems engineering and SaaS operations
• Experience supporting end users of LLM-powered tools and agents (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a service-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of email security and authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Practical experience administering Microsoft 365, Slack, and Jira/Confluence
• Exposure to AWS, Twilio, or modern SaaS infrastructure used for internal systems
• Background in SOC2/ISO-aligned environments, familiarity with audit evidence and access reviews
• Experience with SaaS license optimization and cost management across distributed environment

Responsibilities

• Own identity, access lifecycle automation and onboarding/offboarding workflows.
• Maintain a modern Jira Service Management (JSM) portal with structured forms, approvals, and knowledge articles.
• Develop and maintain macOS MDM baselines; enforce security controls and zero-touch deployment.
• Enable employees with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) and govern safe use.
• Automate high-volume IT and People Ops workflows via scripts, APIs, and low-code tools.
• Administer core platforms (Microsoft 365/Entra, Slack, Jira/Confluence) and implement lightweight governance for permissions.
• Maintain email security configurations (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and secure routing.
• Support ongoing IAM, security, and audit-related tasks as the company scales
