Hi Marley is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Boston to tackle high-leverage problems, steer architectural direction, and ship complex AI-enabled systems. You will work across teams, mentor engineers, and elevate quality, security, and reliability while advancing the company’s AI-driven claims experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development with large production systems.
• Experience designing distributed architectures across multiple domains.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and agent design concepts.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence across teams.
• Strong judgment in high-trust, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and patterns across domains and communicate trade-offs.
• Lead complex initiatives end-to-end from design to delivery.
• Architect AI-enabled systems with proper guardrails and quality.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team’s technical bar.
• Represent Hi Marley as a trusted technical voice to stakeholders.
